Newton Labs developed and manufactures the US700UW Underwater Shaker specifically to gather data, assist in research development, and detection based applications in underwater environments. The systems unique ability to operate in previously unreachable environments will introduce a new method for specialized data acquisition and further the advancement in underwater research and material studies.

Pressure Balance Methodology
The US7000UW utilizes the external water pressure to move a piston that compresses gas inside the US700U. This external water pressure equalizes the pressure at the sealed output shaft and thus allows for normal movement of the shaker armature under high pressure. This movement is translated through the sealed output shaft to the external test piece.
