Newton Labs, the largest manufacturer in the world of underwater laser scanners, is pleased to introduce its new PL4000UW. This fixed line underwater laser scanner is specifically designed for capturing high resolution metrology data deployed on ROV and AUV submersibles.

The PL4000UW easily interfaces with IMU devices, either integral to the ROV/AUV or exterior IMU systems. The scanner draws its power from the MUX or ROV/AUV and only requires 24VDC and GigEthernet from the MUX or ROV/AUV. The PL4000UW is depth rated to 4000 Meters and has a 10 Meter scanning range and is easily mounted on ROV or AUV submersibles
